Kaizen Workforce Solutions Celebrates Partnership with Primeline Logistics on €50 Million Distribution Hub and 400 New Jobs

Kaizen Workforce Solutions was honoured to attend Primeline Logistics’ official opening of their €50 million distribution hub in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, this week. In conjunction with the opening, Primeline Logistics announced the creation of 400 new jobs across various disciplines. Kaizen Workforce Solutions is thrilled to play a pivotal role in the recruitment process for these positions.

Lauren Mulligan, CEO of Kaizen Workforce Solutions, expressed her excitement about the collaboration, saying, “This is wonderful news for both Primeline Logistics and the local community. We are proud to support Primeline Logistics in their expansion and are committed to finding the best talent to fill these new roles. This partnership is a testament to our dedication to fostering growth and providing exceptional workforce solutions.”

“As successful business partners with Primeline Logistics, we understand the paramount importance of leveraging both our seasoned experience and the latest technology Kaizen have to offer to provide exemplary support to our client. By combining the wisdom gained during our lengthy relationship with the efficiency of our modern purpose-designed tools, we empower our team to deliver solutions that exceed our client expectations and set new standards of excellence in every interaction.” Alan Cousins, Kaizen Workforce Solutions Client Services Director said.

Primeline said the new 360,000sq/ft development is the largest Irish-owned net zero energy building compliant distribution centre. The hub will add to Primeline’s footprint which currently spans over 1,000,000sq/ft across ten industrial units in Ireland and the UK.

Primeline already employs 1,100 people and the new jobs will be in IT, operations and sales. The company makes over 25,000 deliveries to more than 7,500 outlets around Ireland each week.

“The development of this hub along with our investment in new technologies, is a product of careful planning and strategy and is also a symbol of the vision we have for Primeline Group,” Tim Cummins, CEO of Primeline Group said.

Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment Peter Burke welcomed news of the development. “The story of Primeline Group is one of ambition and entrepreneurship, and the group has built a truly impressive presence across Ireland and the UK,” Mr Burke said. “Bringing this new addition online will no doubt be a major asset to its growth in Ashbourne and the wider region,” he added.

Enterprise Ireland CEO Leo Clancy described Primeline Group’s growth as an excellent example of the potential for Irish business. “This company’s success is rooted in their ability to deliver on a first-class customer experience while also keeping an eye to the future of where the growth opportunities lie,” Mr Clancy said.
