Artic (HGV) Driver, Dublin, Total Day Rate of €178.50 including Subsistence

Job Purpose:
To safely operate articulated vehicles (Artic/HGV) to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods in compliance with all company procedures, road safety regulations, and relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate articulated vehicles safely on scheduled routes and deliveries.
• Complete all deliveries accurately and within allocated timeframes.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery notes.
• Comply with company policies, health and safety standards, and all legal requirements.
• Communicate effectively with operations staff regarding deliveries, delays, or issues.

Working Hours / Roster:

• 2-week rolling roster: Week 1 – 5 days, Week 2 – 6 days.
• Typical working week: 40–45 hours.
• Majority of drivers: Monday to Saturday, some roles may require Sunday to Friday.
• Start times typically 4:00 AM – 8:00 AM.
• Shifts approximately 8–10 hours per day.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Day Rate: €140
• Subsistence: €38.50
• Total Daily Pay: €178.50
• Weekly Pay: Week 1 €892.50 | Week 2 €1,071 | Average €982 (including accommodation)
• Accommodation provided where required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Full, valid Artic / HGV license.
• Proven experience operating articulated vehicles minimum of 3 years..
• Strong record of reliability and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work varying rostered days and start times.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and health and safety compliance.
